Donna Hackney Obituary
Beloved wife of the late James. Loving mother of Diane Walton, Joy (Mike) Wendt, Joanne Mills, Kathy (Steve) Schaefer, Steve (Donna) Hackney, Dennis (Rita) Hackney, Don (Judy) Walton, Brad (Julie) Walton and the late Karen Garrett. Dear grandmother of 16, great-grandmother of 37, and great-great grandmother of 1.
Donna loved her family, her church, her neighbors and everyone she met just yesterday. She was the happiest when all her children were together, gathered around her. She dedicated much of her time to the care needs of the Joint Heirs class at Highland Park Baptist Church. Until just recently, she was actively involved in the landscape business she owned with Jim.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 4, 10am at Highland Park Baptist Church, 28600 Lahser Rd., Southfield. Visitation at the church begins at 9:30am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to the Highland Park Baptist Church Mission Fund.
