Donna German Hull

The world grew a little dimmer on October 2, 2025, when Heaven welcomed home one of its brightest lights. Donna Sue Hull (née German), 67, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, was a woman whose smile could lift a room and whose faith could move mountains.
Born on May 10, 1958, in North Carolina, Donna grew up between the North Carolina and Manassas, Virginia, before finding her forever home in Virginia Beach in 1989-just a week after her daughter was born. For 36 years, Virginia Beach was where she planted her roots, raised her family, and poured love into everyone who crossed her path.
Donna was the daughter of the late Pansy and Donald German, and the beloved sister of Danny German (deceased), Cecile Giancaterino, Paul German, and Patricia Kidwell. She was a devoted mother to Ryan, Stephanie, Christopher (deceased), and Dillon, and a proud grandma to Kari, Paige, and Reef-each one the light of her life.
Those who knew Donna knew her laugh, her kindness, and her unwavering faith. Life gave her battles, but she met them all with grace and gratitude, never losing sight of God's promises. Even through pain, she gave joy. Even through tears, she offered love. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, cared for, and loved.
Donna had a southern soul and a servant's heart. She loved baking, reading, gardening, and watching her soap operas-simple joys that brought her peace. She found laughter and loyalty in her 29 year plus friendship with Amy and countless others who became family along the way.
She leaves behind a legacy of faith, strength, and love that will ripple through generations. Her light will never fade; it will live on in every flower she once tended, every laugh she inspired, and every life she touched.
