Donna Marlene Johnson, 72, of Aransas Pass passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on August 17, 2025. Donna was born in Temple, Texas on June 24, 1953 to Herbert and Mary Hill Solomon.
Donna was a long-time seamstress and member of the First Christian Church, her passions in life were of course sewing, cooking wonderful meals for her family and friends and listening to her favorite singer George Strait.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Ms. Donna is survived by her husband of 53 years Jimmy Johnson, children; Sam (Melissa) Johnson, Jennifer (Mike) Shannon and Nick (Brandy Hammons) Johnson, grandchildren Amy Roland, Chandler Long, Rylie Brown, James McLain,Jr, Amanda Svoboda, Mercedz Johnson and Caden Lee Johnson. Great-grandchildren are Walker Roland, Brie Roland,Josslyn Long, Jada Saunders and Layla McBride.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
