Born in Brooklyn, NY she was the beloved wife of Larry O. Kimbel, devoted daughter of Thomas and Valerie Markiewicz Greaney.
Donna was a graduate of Immaculata High School, class of 1977.
On Donna's journey with cancer, she always had a positive outlook. She knew she was not alone in her battle and often said she had "team family" behind her. She deeply cared about people and never hesitated to ask others how they were doing even though she was fighting her own battle.
Donna was an active parishioner at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish for many years. Her faith was deep, unwavering, and brought comfort to many.
She was part of the Pre-Cana team, CCD and was an advocate for and active participant in Parenting classes for those in the County Prison system. Donna and Larry opened their home and fostered several children before adopting their two daughters Carrie and Amy.
Donna worked for Fred Beans dealerships in Doylestown for over 20 years, where she developed a close bond with her work family.
She loved entertaining family and friends whether it was holidays, birthdays or just a reason to get people together. A holiday dinner was not only a time for family to be together, it was a time to open the Kimbel home to those who had no place to go. Their table always had room for more. Donna truly lived her life to the fullest and she will be remembered for her quick wit and warm and welcoming smile.
She was a loving grandmother known as "Babcia" whose life revolved around her grandchildren. She also had a special place in her heart for her corgi grand dog Penny.
