Donna Marie King, age 69, of Dandridge, TN entered into the Heavenly Kingdom in a State of Grace on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. King, the oldest of nine children, was born June 16, 1954, in Red Bank, NJ, to Stanley and Francis Lenovich. She was a nurse and worked in the medical profession for over 40 years in New Jersey, Florida, and Tennessee and was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Newport.  Donna was a cancer survivor and long-time participant and volunteer with the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Sevier County. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Stanley (Stash), Douglas, and Steven, and sister Mary Ann Lammond. She is survived by her loving husband Arthur R. (Bob) King, son and daughter-in-law Scott and Valerie Mulligan, the pride and joy of her life, her beloved granddaughter, Emma Mulligan, sister Doreen (Dan) Wininger, brothers Tommy (Pam), Ronald, and Michael, and a host of nephews and nieces whom she dearly loved.  The family will receive friends at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge on December 29 from 5-7 p.m. with a private burial to follow on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Good Shepherd Church, P.O. Box 1894, Newport, TN 37822, or to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Sevier County, 300 Gary Wade Blvd., Sevierville, TN 37862.  The family would like to especially thank Dr. John Douglass, Jennifer Starritt, FNP-BC, and the doctors and nursing staff from the progressive care unit at UT as well as special friends, Stacy Rowe, Sandy Ownby, and Fr. Pontian Kiyimba for their special care and attention.
