Donna M. Lasco, 84, devoted mother, beloved wife, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home in West Pittston on Thursday, May 1, 2025, with her family by her side.
She was born in Harveys Lake on New Year's Day, 1941. She was the first child of the late Morgan and Myrtle Lee Price. She would later assist them in raising her younger siblings, beginning a long life of family devotion. She was always there with a listening ear, a warm hug, unwavering support and, when needed, a swift kick in the back end to get back on life's track.
After graduating from Lake Lehman High School in 1958, she worked various jobs and assisted her parents with raising her younger siblings. In 1959 she met and married the love of her life, Robert Lasco. Together they grew into a family of seven, living in Sweet Valley, Pa. Donna was active in her children's school and sports activities. Her last "paid" job was working in the garment industry before becoming a full-time grammy.
Her husband, Robert, preceded her in death in 2002 after 43 years of marriage. Her younger sister, Phyllis, preceded her as well.
Surviving are her children: Robert Lasco, Gilbert, Ariz.; David Lasco, Orangeville, Pa.; Betsy (Bill) Sennick, Benton, Pa.; Mary Davidson, Roseburg, Ore.; Katie (Bob) Orlando, West Pittston, Pa.; and grandchildren: Rennin Davidson, Heather Kaminski, David Lasco, Katie Lynn Lasco, Travis Lasco, Casey Orlando and Laura Lasco; and four great-grandchildren, with another on the way.
Also surviving are her siblings: Joanne (Russ) Steele, Beverly Hills, Fla.; Kathy (Bill) Hoover, Dallas, Pa.; Jim (Annie) Price, Hunlock Creek, Pa; Marcie (Dominick) Julian, Hunlock Creek, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements will be private and are entrusted to Gubbiotti Funeral Home LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

My deepest condolences to the Lasco family. "Mom" and "Pops" were great parents and role models to all of us. Being family with them made us all better people. Just remember, this isn't good bye, it's we'll be with you somewhere later in life!
