Donna Jean (Riddle) Locke, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 11, 2025. She was born on November 30, 1956 in Anderson, Indiana to Kenneth and Gertie Riddle (Honeycutt).
Donna's legacy of strength can be seen in her unwavering commitment to family, even during times of adversity. She faced numerous challenges with courage and determination, earning the admiration of those who knew her. Whether enduring physical illness or responding to the loss of loved ones, Donna's resilience remained a constant throughout her life.
Known for her kindness, she treated everyone she encountered with warmth, respect, and dignity. Her empathy and understanding were hallmarks of her character and she leaves behind a profound legacy of selflessness and commitment to others. Donna's dedication will resonate for generations to come.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Locke; son, Jeffrey (Suzanne) Cannon Jr.; daughter, Lesley (Ron) Mosier; grandchildren, Bradan (Alyse) Cannon, Makayla Chase (Lucas) Damron, Caleb Cannon, Katelyn Mosier, and Nick Mosier; and one great granddaughter due in February, Astrid Jean Rose Cannon; sisters, Lola (Steve) Kersey, Loletta (Jeff) Metzger, Lisa (Robert) Locke, and Mona (Yama McNary) Riddle; brothers, Sherman Allen Riddle, Steven (Karen) Riddle, and Charles (Jennifer) Riddle; plus a host of nieces and nephews.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Griggs; and brothers, Kenneth Riddle, Jr., and Fred Riddle.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2025 at G.H. Hermann Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46227. She will be laid to rest at the New Crown Cemetery.
