Pushpa Thomas, 86, of Mooresville, passed away on August 5, 2025. She was born on March 27, 1939 in India to the late Umiashanker Trivedi and Shrimati Ruxamani,

Before moving to the United States she was a member of a professional dance team in India. She was proud to become a US citizen in 1975. She retired from Wishard Hospital after 30 years as a registered nurse.

She was a member of Southport Heights Christian Church, and she loved the Lord and her church family.

She was a member of the Baxter YMCA where she was a part of Silver Sneakers.

Pushpa enjoyed country line dancing and once performed during a Colts half time.

She enjoyed biblical cross word puzzles, bird watching, animals, babies, and spending time with her family and friends. She loved Jesus and his love overflowed to everyone she met.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, Jeffrey (Kimberly) Thomas and Mark (Cynthia) Thomas; 2 granddaughters, Jennifer (Cole) Parton and Amber (Michael) Palmer; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Tristanie, Zaylie, Faith, Landen, and Maeslinn; step grandsons, Josh (Andrea) Norris and Brandon (Ashley) Byers; and step great grandchildren, Aiden and Addilyn.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Sunday, August 10th at Southport Heights Christian Church, 7154 McFarland Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46227 and a celebration of life service to be conducted at 11:30 AM Monday, August 11, 2025 at the church. She will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to Southport Heights Christian Church.
