Donna Jane McCoy Lynk

Donna Jane McCoy Lynk, 83, passed away on June 3, 2023 in her home with her family by her side. Donna, born in Reidsville, NC, was the daughter of the late Glover and Thelma McCoy. She spent most of her life in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. She was a devoted and loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend who lived her life with a positive outlook, generosity and kindness.
Donna was preceded in death by her late husband, Col. Edward H.P. Lynk, U.S.M.C. Ret; her daughter, Stephanie Lee Campbell; and a grandson, Phillip Arthur Whitton. Those who will deeply miss her include her two sons, Arthur M. Whitton, and Bo Campbell; two brothers, Ben McCoy and Johnny (Debbie) McCoy; two grandchildren, Tiffany Whitton, and Cora Lee Campbell; two nephews, Jason and Matt McCoy, as well as many other extended family members and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice. A family only graveside service will be held on June 19 at 2pm in Princess Anne Memorial Park.
