Donna Mae Millington

Donna Millington (Foss), 94, of Haverhill, MA passed away peacefully in the mid-morning of August 14, 2025 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She fought a brief illness with her irrepressible humor and pluck and was continually surrounded by her loving family throughout the entire ordeal.
She was the eldest of six children born to the late Clifford and Ludivine (Liz) Foss (Gallant). She was predeceased by her younger sisters Joan Mahoney and Dorothy Aimaro and is survived by her brothers Robert and Alson and her sister Barbara Brunault. Her late husband, Walter Millington III, passed in 2015. She was a lifelong Haverhill resident.
She was a beloved mother, neighbor and friend and is survived by her three children: Theresa Scott and her husband Dean, her eldest son Michael and her youngest son Daniel and his wife Pamela. She took great joy in her grandchildren Kendra Stevens, Jared Baker, Reece Millington and Alyssa Millington and her many nieces and nephews.
Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She enjoyed the sun and cool breezes on the back deck at her home, the salty air of the beach and regular Sunday evening pizza get-togethers with her family. She was happiest when surrounded by family, simply telling stories, playing Scrabble or laughing at her own quirks and recounting the humorous events of the day.
She will be lovingly and fondly remembered. We have all learned much from her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the graveside service on Saturday, September 20th at 11:00 in the Elmwood Cemetery, 94 Salem Street, Bradford. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Bradford~Haverhill.
