On August 21, 2024, Donna Marie Moken, "Aunt Donna", passed away peacefully at her sister's home in Medford, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Camden and raised in Magnolia, Donna attended St. John of God School in Westville before working for different companies including The Abilities Center. She was also involved in various community programs such as Real Life Choices and Lifestyles.
Donna was a Special Olympics athlete. Not only was she an avid bowler, she was also a multi-gold medal winner in swimming. However, Donna's biggest passion was dancing - any time, any place, and with any person who would let her spin them around.
Donna was predeceased by her devoted parents, John and Margaret Moken (nee Fleming) and her brother, Gary Moken. She is lovingly survived by her siblings, Pam Babli (Ron), Marge Morley (Bob), John Moken (Michele), Dave Moken (Brenda), Linda Talotta, and Debbie Schmidt; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Friday evening, August 30th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 9 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights where her Life Celebration will be held at 8:00 PM. Interment with her parents at St. Joseph's Cemetery will be held privately at a later date. in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John of God Community Services, Attn: Development Office, 1147 Delsea Drive, Building A, Westville, NJ 08093 or at https://www.sjogcs.org/ Relatives and friends who cannot attend in person and wish to view the service, can log in to the the livestream Friday beginning at 7:30 PM by visiting: https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/a24084671302191
