Donna M. Myers

Donna (Baker) Myers, 87, of Hershey, PA passed away on August 10, 2022. She was born July 24, 1935 in Roaring Spring; daughter of the late Charles A. and V. Romaine (Replogle) Baker. Donna was a Class of 1953 graduate of Replogle High School and a 1954 graduate of Altoona School of Commerce. She married Glen Wilber Myers in 1957 and just celebrated their 65th anniversary on July 8. They have two children - Kathy Sue Nave (Brad) of Georgetown, Indiana, and Stephen Paul Myers (Kathy) of Annville, PA. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert E. Baker (Ann) and two sisters Carol Hess (Meryl) and Betty Baker. Surviving is husband Glen, brother C. William Baker (Rita) of New Enterprise, sister Belva Slagenweit (Paul) of Everett and sister Linda Lamb of Michigan. Donna has five grandchildren and six great grandchildren who loved to stay at her welcoming home, where her ham loaf, gobs, grainger pies and sand tarts all received high praise. She had beautiful handwriting and a steady hand for needlework. Donna retired from the Bedford REA after 18 years of service. She and her husband were members of the Bedford Church of the Brethren (BCOB) since 1966 where she was an active member in women's fellowship, choir and served as Treasurer. A memorial service will be held on September 3, 2022 at 10:30 AM the (BCOB). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BCOB Women's Fellowship.
