Funeral services celebrating the life of Donna Veitch Pate will be held at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana Monday, July 15, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held prior to the services at 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will be led by Bro. Bill Crider.
Donna was born on August 6, 1958, in Minden, Louisiana. She entered into rest in Shreveport, Louisiana July 4, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Donald Ray Veitch. She is survived by her mother, Georgia Faye Veitch of Minden, daughter Michelle Guthrie Gray and husband Will of Sibley (grandson Peyton), brother Ronnie Veitch of Homer, sister Vickie Bennie of Buna, Tx, niece Stephanie Martinez and husband John of Wallisville, TX, nephew Jason Veitch and wife Kagnee of Haughton, and niece Jennifer Veitch and Billy of Minden, along with very special great nieces and nephews.
Donna grew up attending church at First Baptist Minden and came to know the Lord Jesus Christ while attending Bistineau Baptist Church later in life. Donna graduated from Minden High School in 1976. She then went on to graduate from Louisiana Tech in 1986 with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies followed by a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies from LSU-S in 1994. She retired from the Department of Children and Family Services as an Economic Supervisor for Claiborne Parish in 2014.
Pallbearers will be: Peyton Gray, Will Gray, John Martinez, Chris Townsend, Jason Veitch, and Ronnie Veitch.
The family would like to thank Dr. Scott Phillips and Brint Fegley, ACNP for their care of Donna over the years. The family would also like to thank our angel on Earth, Ms Tina Myles for her care of Donna over the past few weeks.
