Donna Ruth Reyes

Donna Ruth Bishop Reyes passed away on Friday January 2, 2026 at the age of 62 years in Dallas, Texas. She was born on June 27, 1963 to Virgil Ray and Frankie Oma Lee Bishop in Austin, Texas. Donna was preceded in death by her Father Virgil Ray Bishop. She is survived by her spouse of 25 years Mario A Reyes, son Michael Lockett and his wife Angela Perryman, Mother Frankie Oma Lee Bishop, and siblings Harvey Bishop and his wife Naazy and Michael Bishop and his wife Erin. Donna is a beloved Mother to one son Michael and several animals and has two furry grand kids, and a proud Aunt to Brad,Eric,Audrey,Frankie and Huck.

Donna went to high school in Osterholz American High School located in Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Germany that served many military families. Donna had many careers from being in the food industry as a manager to serving the Federal Government for 15+ years as a TSA agent, to starting a small business of baking and decorating cupcakes and cakes for 2 years.

Donna was not only a lover of music, animals, art, her family and friends but she had unwavering faith in God. When she wasn't spending time with her family and friends she was going to Springcreek Church and participating in various programs and services they offer many members of the community. She also loved not only helping people but also fostering animals and helping them find forever homes.

Services will be held at the Craddock Memorial Chapel, Saturday January 10, 2026 at 10 am with Pastor Richard Allan officiating. Interment will follow at McAlister Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 pm-9 pm at the funeral home on Friday January 9,2026.
