Mrs. Donna Reeves Rushing, age 79, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022. She was born on March 17, 1943, in DeKalb County, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late William "Aaron" and Averia Talley Reeves.
Mrs. Rushing is survived by her daughter, Tammy Rushing; son-in-law, Travis Causey; sister, Anne Reeves Peek (Buddy); sister-in-law, Gloria Rushing Harpe; grandchildren, Kenny Causey (Amy), Kyle Causey, Kody Causey, and Konner Causey (Ansley); and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Rushing is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lamar Neal Rushing; daughters, Pamela Jean Rushing and Patti Causey; sisters, Virginia Reeves Slappy and Ramona Reeves Landrum; and brothers, John Malcolm Reeves and infant Donald Reed Reeves.
A graveside service for Mrs. Rushing will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 at twelve o'clock in the afternoon in the family lot at Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery with Dr. Charles Drummond officiating.
