Donna Marie Stevens

Donna M. (Giambartolomei) Stevens, of Bradenton FL, formerly of Ridgefield, CT, passed away suddenly August 16, 2024.
She was born November 1955 to Vincent J. (dec) and Barbara Giambartolomei. Her early years were spent in Ridgefield. She was a graduate of Ridgefield High School, class of 1973.
Donna's career focused as a Buyer/Purchasing Agent for companies, government agencies, in Connecticut and continued with her move to Florida. Most recently, working with the many friends she had at the School District of Manatee County.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, John Stevens, her mother Barbara Giambartolomei of New Hampshire, sisters Gina Nielsen of Indiana, Barbara (Glennon) Paredes of Massachusetts and brother Vincent (Julie) Giambartolomei of New Hampshire. Donna was a loving Aunt to Cassie Nielsen, CJ (Shelby) Nielsen, Isabelle Paredes, and Matthew Giambartolomei.
Donna enjoyed the Opera and was an avid reader (a passion she shared with her father). She had volunteered with the Saint Joseph Catholic Church food bank and Unique Boutique of the Women's Resource Center. She was an organ donor; through her generosity her corneas have given someone the gift of sight.
Although out hearts are saddened by the loss of Donna, we take comfort in remembering her generous heart, her love for family and how she always was available for others.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209. A Burial will take place at a later date in Connecticut.
