Donna M. Teichman

Donna M. Teichman, age 82 of Goddard, KS formerly of Plano, IL passed away on January 7, 2026 at Diversicare of Haysville in Haysville, KS. She was born on January 30, 1943 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Thomas and Josephine (Sowinski) Kush.
Donna was united in marriage on July 24, 1965 to Mr. Phillip Carl Teichman and they spent the next 56 years happily together until his passing on October 11, 2021. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Plano, IL. Donna dedicated her life to her home and her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be missed by all who knew her.
Donna is survived by her children, David (Tracy) Teichman of Yorkville, IL, Tennille (Arthur) Shamburger of Goddard, KS; her grandchildren, Katie (Josh Gyovai) Teichman, Taylor (Adam) Hunger and Kaeleigh Shamburger; her great-grandchildren, Harper Hunger, Charlie Hunger and Hadley Gyovai; her sisters, Gerri (Dave) Pope, Karyn Haskell; as well as her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Josephine Kush; her husband, Phillip Carl Teichman; her son, Daniel Teichman; and her brother-in-law Dave Haskell.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 W. South Street, Plano, IL. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Bristol, IL.
Friends may visit from 9:00 AM until the Hour of Service on Friday, January 23, 2026 at the Funeral Home in Plano, IL.
