Donna A. Torbert, 78, of Emmaus, passed away peacefully Jan. 3, 2026 in Devon House. Born in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Julia (Fearing) Koch. Donna dedicated many years of her professional life to serving others as a secretary, working for Bethlehem Steel, Salisbury School District, Nations First Bank, and the law office of Howard Stevens. She later retired from Lehigh Country Club. She was a former member of Salem U.C.C. and First Presbyterian Church of Allentown. She was a member of a bowling league and the Ptarmigan Ski Club.

Above all, Donna cherished her family. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kelly Torbert and her fiancée Steve Walck; her son, Michael Torbert and wife Vanessa; and her treasured grandchildren, Peyton, McKenna, Sofia, and Esteban, who brought her immense pride and joy. She is also survived by her sister, Gail, wife of Michael McGinn; and her brother, Rick Koch and his companion Susan.

A celebration of Donna's life will be held on Fri., Jan. 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Devon House and Family Pillars Hospice for their kindness, compassion, and devoted care during Donna's final days.
