Donna Darlene Tyer, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, in Murrieta, California, at the age of 101. Born on November 5, 1923, in Aurora, Nebraska, Donna's life was a testament to the strength and grace of her generation. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose legacy of warmth and kindness will forever be remembered.

Donna's journey through life was shared with her beloved husband, Robert Tyer, with whom she enjoyed 59 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in August of 2000. Together, they built a family foundation of unconditional love and support. Donna's love story continued through her devoted children, Karen Sue Farr, Julie Ann (Bob) Barrington, Mark (Barbara) Tyer, and Debbie Darlene (Randy) Denham. Her lineage grew to include fourteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immeasurable joy and pride.

Professionally, Donna dedicated 12 years of her life to the medical field as a medical records director, where her meticulous nature and compassionate heart left a lasting impact. Her colleagues remember her not only for her work ethic but for her genuine friendliness and her ability to bring warmth and light into the workplace.

Donna's interests were a reflection of her nurturing spirit and love for life's simple pleasures. She found solace in cooking, sewing, and crocheting, creating countless memories and heirlooms for her family and friends. Her musical talent shone through her piano playing, which was often the heart of family gatherings. Donna's faith was a central part of her existence, and she found great comfort in reading her Bible, which guided her through life's challenges and triumphs. She was also a Daughter of the American Revolution War and Tops Queen.

An avid lover of the outdoors, Donna cherished moments spent camping and fishing. These activities were not just hobbies but a way for her to connect with nature and her family. She instilled in her descendants a deep appreciation for the beauty of the natural world and the value of shared experiences.

Described by those who knew her as loving, friendly, and faith-filled, Donna's presence was a gift to all. Her compassion knew no bounds, and her ability to listen and offer words of wisdom made her a confidant to many. Her unwavering faith was a source of inspiration and comfort to those around her, and her legacy will continue to be felt through the lives she touched.

Donna's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, kindness, and a steadfast belief in the goodness of people.
