Donna VanSickle Obituary

Donna Ann Mitchell Flickinger VanSickle, 78, of Manchester, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at BridgingLife Dove House. Born April 24, 1947, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late James Reaver Mitchell Sr., and Betty Jane Ecker Mitchell. She was the loving wife of Edward H. VanSickle, Jr., her husband of 38 years. Donna spent most of her working career as the owner of Ferrichen Solutions, LLC. She was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan and a lover of animals, especially cats and dogs. Donna was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Westminster and the Order of the Eastern Star Plymouth Chapter #41, Union Bridge, where she was Past Worthy Matron. She will be deeply missed. Surviving in addition to her husband is her son Paul Scott Flickinger of Westminster; stepson James Taylor VanSickle of Titusville, FL; brother James Reaver Mitchell, Jr; and 2 grandchildren Jade and Amber VanSickle. The family will welcome friends on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 6 to 7pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. A memorial service will begin at 7pm. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed. Please visit www.prittsfuneralhome.com. Interment will be private at Westminster Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 12 Carroll Street, Westminster, MD 21157. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.prittsfuneralhome.com.
