She embarked on her spiritual journey receiving the sacraments of baptism, first communion, and confirmation at St. Matilda Catholic Church, where she devotedly served as a Jr. Daughter.
She attended St. Matilda Catholic School in Eunice, LA from 1970 to 1971 then finished Elementary at Happy Hill Elementary School. She graduated from Eunice High School in 1981 then graduated from University of Louisiana of Lafayette in 1989 with two degrees, Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She received her Master of Business Association from University of Phoenix in May 2009.
She taught Special ED at East Elementary from 1989 - 1991, 3rd grade at St. Antoine Elementary from 1991 - 1996, Church Point Elementary 1996 - 1997, 6th grade at Church Point Middle from 1997 - 2010, 5th grade at Breaux Bridge Elementary from 2010 - 2012, Armstrong Middle from 2012 - 2016, and Acadia Parish Alternative from 2016 - 2023.
She retired from Acadia Parish School board in 2023, closing a remarkable chapter in her distinguished career. However, her retirement was short-lived, driven by her unwavering passion; she returned to teaching the same year. She continued her career teaching 7th & 8th grade at JS Clark from 2023 - 2024 then various grade levels at Opelousas High from 2024 -2025.
Throughout her teaching journey, she accomplished teacher of the year, led various school clubs, was a proud member of the teacher's association, and received several certifications.
Her biggest accomplishment and greatest joy was being a mom. She taught her three children to be God-fearing, independent, and intelligent individuals. Instilling in them the value of an education and to lean on the bible during difficult times.
Cherishing warm and fond memories of her earthly stay is her family: three children Newton Victorian of Church Point, LA, Mckenzie Brown - Smoak (Isaiah) of Austin, TX, Ester Brown of San Antonio, TX, one grandchild Estella A. Smoak, her brother, Columbus A. Victorian Jr. (Vanessa) of Douglasville, Georgia, and two nephews Columbus Victorian III and Monte Victorian.
She is preceded in death by her parents Arcelous Victorian and Cecilia Lavergne-Victorian of Eunice, La, and brother Kelvin Ray Victorian of Welch, LA.

Ms. Victorian, I first want to start off by saying, THANK YOU for EVERYTHING! 3rd grade at St. Antoine is where it all started. You were not only my teacher but you were FAMILY and you treated me as such. I will never forget the trips to the movies, shopping, sleepovers and show biz. Thank you for loving me during one of the darkest times of my childhood. You will always hold a special place in my life. Love you always
