Donna Whipkey Obituary

Donna L. (Hill) Whipkey, born on December 7, 1928, in Moundsville, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025, in Wheeling, West Virginia, at the age of 96.
Donna was a dedicated and hardworking individual, known for her role as the Owner and Operator of Limestone Exxon. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her love for bowling, a pastime she enjoyed throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry "Leo" Whipkey; her father, Reuben Hill; her mother, Beulah (Kanner) Hill; and her brothers, Ray, Reed, and William Hill.
Donna is survived by her two sons, David (Linda) Whipkey of Texas and Larry Whipkey of Jamaica Plains, MA. She also leaves behind her brother, Kay (Beverly) Hill of Moundsville, WV, and her sister-in-law, Patricia Hill of Glen Dale, WV.
Donna was formerly of Limestone, WV, where she spent many cherished years.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation hours on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, and on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville.
Interment will follow at Limestone Cemetery.
Donna will be remembered for her warmth, dedication, and the love she shared with those around her.
