Donna White Obituary
Born February 2, 1935, in Warren, Ohio, Donna was the daughter of the late Donald Watson and Edna (Durst) Watson. She was a of the Warren area and a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Class of 1953. In 1979, she moved to Girard, Ohio, where she lived until the summer of 2015, when she relocated to Satellite Beach, Florida.
Donna retired from Olan Mills Portrait Studio, where she worked for many years as an appointment coordinator.
An avid bridge player, Donna participated in several card clubs and greatly enjoyed the camaraderie they provided. She was a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Mary Chesney Chapter of Warren, and a devoted supporter of the Aut Mori Grotto of Youngstown. She also belonged to the Penn-Ohio Polka Pals Booster Club, Fifth Wheel Club of Warren, Lake Milton Boat Club, Youngstown Saxon Club Branch 22, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles 3298 of Austintown. After moving to Florida, she joined the Satellite Beach 55 Plus Club and the Young at Heart Seniors at Satellite Beach United Methodist Church. Donna loved to travel and took great joy in sharing her adventures with family and friends.
Donna married John "Jack" White on July 19, 1975. They shared 37 years of marriage before Jack preceded her in death on July 19, 2012.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey B. Jenkins (Denise Hoover) of Austintown, Ohio, and her daughter, Janet Jenkins Lambert (Mark) of Satellite Beach, Florida; five grandchildren, Jason Crawford (Lauren), Addie Jenkins, Jeffrey G. Jenkins (McKenzie), Vance Lambert (Ellen), and Craig Lambert (Melissa); and three great-grandchildren, Clark, Sailor, and Sutton.
Memorial donations may be made to the Satellite Beach United Methodist Church, Young at Heart Senior Ministry in memory of Donna. A check can be mailed to 450 Lee Avenue, Satellite Beach, FL 32937 or the following link can be used: sbumc.net
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, at Lane Family Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Donna C White, please visit our floral store.
