Donnie Paul Rowell, 45, of Fort Valley, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience. Born on November 30, 1979, in Warner Robins, Georgia, Donnie was the beloved son of the late Bluette Rowell Sr. and the late Romona Gardner Rowell. A proud country boy through and through, Donnie lived life on his own terms - full of heart, grit, and determination. Whether he was casting a line in his favorite fishing spot or setting up camp under the stars, Donnie found joy in the simple things and peace in nature. He had a way of making every moment count, living in the now, and reminding those around him that if there was a will, he'd surely find a way. Donnie was employed as a cook at Golden Corral, where he brought both skill and soul to his work. He took pride in feeding others and always had a warm smile and a quick joke for those he served. Above all, Donnie loved his family fiercely. His easygoing nature, off-the-cuff wisdom, and unwavering loyalty left a mark on everyone who knew him. He lived life fully - with grit, laughter, and an open heart. Left to cherish his memory are his fiancé Lindsay Paige Woods and their unborn child, his stepchildren, Emma, Henry and SJ; his loving brother, Bluette "Blue" Rowell (Rebecca); his niece, Reese Colson; nephews, Donovan Borders and Bryant Rowell; cousins, Jason Gardner and Georgia Fay Rowell; and his aunts and uncles, Victor Gardner, William Felton Rowell, and Dannie Mae Craig. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him and fondly remembered as a man who lived honestly, gave generously, and walked his own path.
With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
