Portia Dent, born on September 25, 1988, in Warner Robins, GA to Bernard Dent and Gail West-George, passed away on the evening of Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
Portia loved spending time with her family and close friends. She also loved to travel and host her family during the holidays.
Portia was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles West; her paternal grandmother, Grace Dent; and her devoted Aunt Lynn.
She leaves behind cherished memories with her son, Antonio Roberts, Jr.; loving mother, Gail West-George (Kavarra); father, Bernard Dent, Sr. (Sharonda); siblings, Lamar Wright, Jr., Angelica West, Unquavieon Morgan, Jaquavieon Redd, Bernard Dent, Jr., and Paris Dent; aunts and uncles, Terry, Terrance, Tony, Violet, Ella, Barbara, Henry, Torri, Brittany, Dominique, and Jimmy; devoted cousins, Adrian West, Demetrius Chatfield-Finny, and Angela “Punkin” Warner; best friend, Jalisa Williams; special friend, Antonin Roberts, Sr.; and a host of other cousins and family members.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
