Donnie E. Wilcox Jr., 61, passed away July 15, 2025, at the Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, Texas. Donnie E. Wilcox Jr. was born in Rusk, Texas. He grew up in Rusk and spent most of his life there. He found a lovely wife, Lisa Wilcox. She was the love of Donnie's life. He was a Baptist. He loved life and loved to work construction \ pipeline. He loved his family very much and loved his Lord. Donnie had a big soul. He loved laughing and spending time with his family and friends. Donnie was preceded in death by his brother Bryan Wilcox, his son Dalton Wilcox, and his sweet grandparents Katherine and Grady, Carson and Mable Brown. Survivors include wife Lisa Wilcox, Donnie and Barbara Wilcox, Larry and Sherry Lovell, mother-in-law Linda Jones, daughter Courtney and husband Casey, his grandchildren, Adien and Malcom, sisters Trenda and husband Dennis Jones, Gale and Billy Lee, brothers Charlie Lovell and Chad. He had several aunts and uncles. Also, nephews Chris and Josh Hudnall, Corbyn Hudnall, Camden Hudnall and several cousins. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 in the Chapel of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Hospice of East Texas 4111 University Blvd • Tyler, TX 7570 (903) 266-3400
