Donovan Steenberg Obituary
He was born on July 8, 1992, in Keokuk, Iowa, to Michael and LaVinia Hewitt Steenberg. He was a caretaker and loved car shows, John Candy Movies, and classic rock bands, especially the Eagles. His three loves were the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, and classic Mopar cars. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh and feel good. Donovan may have lost his battle with leukemia, but his spirit courageously won the war.
Donovan is survived by his mother and little ma, LaVinia (Vicki) Ray of Fultondale, Alabama; father Michael Steenberg of Keokuk; two sisters, Kyra Snyder of Bowen, Illinois, and Jess (Christopher) Sutcliffe of Fort Madison; two nephews, Clayton Snyder and William Sutcliffe; his best friend Sheila Gnann and her children, Ianna and Leon.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.
A private family celebration of life will be at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory by specific invitation of the family only.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and may be sent directly to St. Jude's or mailed to Jess Sutcliffe, 2142 303rd Ave., Fort Madison, IA 52627.

Donovan had a favorite joke and would want everyone to have one last laugh: What do you call a cow with no legs…ground beef!
