Dora A. Busch

Dora A. Busch, 91, of Hagerstown, MD passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. She was born on June 6, 1930, in Bisbee, Arizona. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Gale E. Busch, Sr. and two sons Robert T. Busch and John A. Busch. She is survived by three daughters, Kay Foley (Dennis), Kathy Carrington (Bill), Debra Wood (Steve) and her four sons, Gale Busch Jr. (Debbie), Garry Busch (Lisa), Eugene Busch (Carol), and Donn Busch (Kris), 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and her sister, Tillie Amarillas.
She will be lovingly remembered by her large, strong family unit with memories of her laughter, cooking, love of cards, bingo, and very strong faith. She was a long standing devoted member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters of Americas, Ladies of the Knights of Columbus, and the local Homemakers Association.
She lived a full life and enjoyed reminiscing and sharing her stories with family and friends. She was an adventurer at heart with a strong spirit for life. This livelihood was passed on to her nine children and will be kept alive in her honor for generations to come.
Funeral services will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church - 1525 Oak Hill Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742 on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. A Viewing will be held at the church from 9:00-10:00 A.M. with Mass beginning at 10:00 A.M. A burial service will follow to Rest Haven Cemetery: 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
