Doreen Dennison Obituary
Doreen Grace Dennison, 46, of
Burlington, NJ, passed into God's welcoming arms and eternal grace and love on May 14, 2025.
Doreen was born in Willingboro, NJ to Richard S. Dennison and Elizabeth Bristle Bosco, and was the second of three children. She spent most of her life in Florence, where she remained closely connected to her hometown and community.
From an early age, Doreen had a deep love for music and the performing arts. She began playing the flute at the age of six, took dance classes, and participated in school musicals throughout her time at Holy Cross High School and later at Burlington County College. Her passion for performance, infectious energy, and angelic voice made her unforgettable to all who had the privilege to know her.
Doreen's creativity extended into the kitchen, where she found joy in cooking and entertaining. Inspired by her love of food and shows like Hell's Kitchen, she often prepared elaborate meals for her family and friends. She was especially known for her pineapple upside-down cake and pineapple stuffing.
Her greatest joy in life was being a mother to her beloved son, Anthony. Doreen was endlessly proud of him and never missed a chance to express her love for him. She shared her passions with Anthony, including her love for Long Beach Island-her happy place-and the traditions and flavors that made it special.
Doreen had a vibrant and adventurous spirit. She loved to travel and her most memorable trips were to Graceland multiple times, to Europe with her siblings, and to California with her son, where she even appeared on TV during an Elvis tribute concert. She was a loyal fan of both the Eagles and the Phillies and loved attending their games whenever she had the chance. She also enjoyed relaxing at home with her favorite shows, including The Bachelor, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Office, and The Golden Girls.
She was fiercely loyal, unapologetically herself, and possessed a wicked sense of humor and an unforgettable laugh. She formed deep, lifelong bonds with friends and family alike, and her warm, irreverent personality made every gathering more joyful-and usually more memorable.
Doreen is predeceased by her father, Richard S. Dennison, and her brother, Richard S. Dennison, Jr. (Richie), both of whom she missed dearly and honored in life. She leaves behind her loving mother, Elizabeth Bosco; beloved sister, Stacy Dennison (Dominick); devoted partner, Raymond Bandish; her cherished son, Anthony Gallina; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
She will be remembered for her passion, resilience, humor, and the profound love she shared with those around her. Though she left us too soon, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Page Funeral Home, 302 East Union Street,
Burlington, NJ.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Assumption Church, 1290 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, NJ.
Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery in Cinnaminson, NJ
