I met Doris in Kindergarten. We went through PS4 and Central high School. We were sisters from different mothers. I moved away to Newark but not far from Doris. Each time we reconnected, it was yesterday. Our friendship and love lasted 77 years.

Doris will always have a special place in our hearts. She reached out in response to me on Ancestry.com -- as a result my husband and his brother were reunited with each other, and the rest of Doris' cousin David Stansfield's family, after 60 years apart. We only met her once, at the Stansfield family reunion in Virginia several years ago. Her sweet and giving nature was a blessing. Rest in peace, dear lady!

Doris you will be missed glad I got to meet you the couple of times I did. Thanks for getting the Stansfield that were separated reunited. Especially the brothers. and now further family we never knew. Stay safe and symptom free and fly as an angel in the arms of the lord. Never knew the life you lived and all your accomplishments. You were serving the lord well and all your other ventures. One day long in the future we will meet again. Love you sweet lady.
