Doris Hawkins "Sally" Haas

Doris Ann "Sally" Hawkins Haas, age 71, of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on June 11, 1954, in Gastonia, North Carolina, Doris was a daughter of the late Warren Hardin Hawkins and Pauline Burgin Hawkins.

Doris had a free spirit, and a bit of a rebel's heart, never afraid to speak her mind or live life her own way. She loved crocheting, spending time at the beach, and most of all being surrounded by her large and growing family.

She is survived by her daughter, Charity Hope Morrison (Cody); her brother, Jack Hawkins (Shirley); grandchildren, Brooke Lane, Matthew Lane (Shannon), Brandon Lane (Britteny), Kensey Cape (Brian), great-grandchildren, Braedyn Lane (Olivia), Chase Lane, Zechariah Lane, Bayleigh Lane, Nathanial Bryant, Melissa Bryant, Caleb Branch, Maddilynn Cape, Andee Cape, and Serenity Lane. great-great grandchildren including Colton, Olivia, and Easton; son-in-law, John Nix; and nieces and nephews, Stephanie Thomas, Nikki Joe Hawkins, Leigh Ann and Riley Hawkins, Christy, Dustin, Owen and Elliot Potts, and Justin and Ashley Lutz.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by two daughters, Tonya Nix and Kimberly Haas; brother, Danny Joe Hawkins; her sister, Nancy Hawkins; a great-grandson, Rollin James Ross, and James Randall "Randy" Pennington, who was a special part of her life.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, March14, 2026, at Eternal Memories Venue, 5083 SC-9 Suite A, Inman, SC.
