Doris Hyde Obituary
Doris C. Hyde, age 96, died September 18, 2025 in the Northgate Health Care Facility following a Short illness. She was born May 4, 1929 in the Town of Hartland to Elmer and Lillian (Budde) Crutts and was a lifetime resident of this area.
Doris was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lockport, and loved animals; especially her cats. She was content and loved living in her home and working on the farm. Mrs. Hyde was predeceased by her husband Howard Andrew Hyde.
She is survived by her cousin: Walter (Alice) Crutts and several second cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street-Gasport, THURSDAY September 25th from 11am-12pm where her Funeral Service will be held immediately following visitation at Noon. Interment will follow in Hartland Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY, 14094 or the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Rd., Niagara Falls, NY, 14304.
