Doris Isham Obituary
White Hall - Doris Jean Isham, age 68, of White Hall, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025 at her residence. She was born March 6, 1957 at Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, the daughter of James and Virginia Ransom Bettis. She married John Isham September 6, 1975 in White Hall and he survives.
She is also survived by her daughter, Amy Jo Isham of White Hall; a grandson, Zander Roberts of White Hall; a sister, Linda (Steve) Wilson of Glasgow; a brother, Mike (Jeannie) Bettis of Roodhouse; a sister-in-law, Sandy Bettis of Roodhouse; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Jimmy Bettis.
Doris worked as an LPN for 36 years retiring from the Greene County Health Department in 2019. She enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals, spoiling her grandson, playing slots, watching hummingbirds, and her Saturday night Texas hold'em games.
Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church with burial to follow in White Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be made to Greene County Health Department.
