Doris Wilkie Ivester

Doris Wilkie Ivester, age 93, widow of Arzo R. Ivester, and formerly of 410 East Florida Street, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at the NHC of Clinton.
She was born September 20, 1930 in Yancy County, NC and was a daughter of the late Roland C. and Lillie Evelyn Lewis Wilkie. She was a former employee of the Clinton Mills, retired from LCSD 56 in the Food Service Department, and was a member of New Vision Tabernacle Victory Worship Center.
Mrs. Ivester is survived by her son, Frank Medlin (Carolyn) of Greenville, SC; her two grandsons, Jason Medlin of Clinton and Waine Medlin of Charlotte, NC; her four great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Wilkie, her sister, Alsie Woody, and her canine companion, Jennie.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Pinelawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Todd Leach officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the graveside service.
