Doris Louise Totten-Jones, age 88, of Lentner, MO, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Baptist Homes of Shelbina.
Doris was born on August 8, 1936 in Shelbina, MO, the daughter of Frank and Zada (Kropf) Million. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Dean Totten on March 2, 1955 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Madison, MO. He preceded her in death on October 28, 1986. She later married Perry Dennis Jones in Paris, MO on August 14, 1995. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2016.
Doris is also preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Dorothy Williams.
Doris was a member of Shelbina First Baptist Church, Lentner Homemaker Club, and the WMU Missionary Club. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, embroidery work and tending to her flowers. Doris loved playing cards with her family and friends and walking bare foot in the snow. Most of all, Doris was a dedicated wife and mother. She will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved her.
She is survived by her four children, Amy York of Euless, TX, Beth Ann Page (Roger) of Hannibal, MO, Chris Totten (Kim) of Shelbina, MO, and Darren Totten (Jason) of Lentner, MO; seven grandchildren, Samantha York, Tabbatha Yanes (Armando), Chad May (Debbie), Leslie Ann Kerr (Randy), Jaxson Garner (Tara), Curt Totten (Jason), and Andrey Totten (Holly); 11 great grandchildren; and one brother, Harvey Million (Louise) of Centralia, MO.
Visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, MO. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at 11 am on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Shelbina Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Dementia Society of America.
