Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Doris Williams Kicklighter, 93, loving wife of the late Eugene Kicklighter.

Doris was a native of Augusta, Georgia. She enjoyed camping, fishing, cookouts, and most importantly time with her family. She was an active member of the church and a dedicated Christian. She never missed an opportunity to testify or teach others about the Lord. 

Family members include her children: Michael Bethune (Lynda) and Leah Stevens (Mike); grandchildren: Sharon Long, Janet Powell (Dwayne), Elizabeth “Bibbitt” Bethune and Christopher “Sport” Bethune (Erika); great grandchildren: Alley O’Connor (Jackson), Michael “Bubba” Hood (Sarah), Shelby Pearson (Cole), Sarah Long and Aaron Long and great-great grandchildren” Baleigh Logue, Wyatt Logue, Weston Hood, Rosie Hood, Colsen Hood and Walker Pearson. In addition to her husband Eugene, Doris was preceded in death by her parents John and Ruth Williams.

“The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Rebecca Talley for her excellent medical care, the staff at Herrington Park Rehabilitation, and to Carolyn Baughman for her constant love and support.” 

The funeral service will be held Monday, February 10, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Living Waters Full Gospel Church with Rev. Oscar Whiteside, Jr., Rev. Martha Robinson, Rev. Michael Bethune and Rev. Leah Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

The family will receive friends on Monday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
