Doris J. Lindenmuth, 92, of Hamburg, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025, in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading, Pennsylvania. Born in Reading on February 8, 1933, she was the daughter of the late George Hottenstein and Geneva (Resh) Kase. She was the wife of the late Roy L. Lindenmuth.

She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit that touched everyone she knew. Her sharp mind and loving heart made her someone everyone turned to for wisdom and comfort.

Doris loved spending time with her family- sharing stories, laughter and especially loved sharing her home- cooked meals that everyone loved. Doris enjoyed the holidays and made the best Christmas cookies. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, camping, jigsaw puzzles, sewing, volunteering at the Hamburg Senior Center on 3rd Street and being an active member of the Hamburg Lions Club. Doris also enjoyed watching her favorite baseball team- the Philadelphia Phillies and watching her favorite Hallmark movies. Doris was a regular favorite at her local McDonald's always requesting fresh French fries- no salt.

She is survived by her son, Robert E. Wolfe Jr. (spouse Joy); daughters, Jacqueline M. (Wolfe) Smith, widow of (spouse William); and Robin F. Wolfe; step-daughter, Gloria S. (Lindenmuth) Heffner (spouse William) and step-son Terry L. Lindenmuth (spouse Amy); granddaughters, Stacy (Schaeffer) Kushner, Kristi (Wolfe) Piersol, Heather (Wolfe) Bean, and Michelle (Ritter) Ainsworth; grandson, Jeremy Ritter; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Doris was predeceased by her parents, daughter Beverly (Wolfe) Schaeffer, and three siblings.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood, PA 19522. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, 55 Church Street, Hamburg, PA 19526.

Doris was truly one of a kind and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend to all. Her family will cherish the memories they shared and the lessons she taught through example of compassion and grace. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all that has the privilege of knowing her.
