Doris Dean McGough

Funeral services for Doris Dean McGough, 63, of West Monroe, Louisiana, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 19, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Dr. Terry Taylor will be officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service.

Doris was born June 4, 1961, in West Monroe, Louisiana, and passed away on June 17, 2024, in Monroe, Louisiana.

Doris had a God given gift of seeing the best in people. She was intensely devoted to the Lord, her family, friends, and pets. Doris life’s work as a hair stylist led her into her true passion for Interior Design, through which she transitioned her passion into a thriving business.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John and Minnie Mae McGough; maternal grandparents, Ollie and Mae Dean; father, Lawrence McGough; stepson, Beau Becton.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Margie McGough Bruce; sister, Monica Ingram and her husband, Scott; brother, Larry McGough and his wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Steele, Arrow, and Brave Becton; nieces, Haley McGough and her significant other, Devon Carson, Lawren Wall and her husband, Matt, and Summer Garcia. Also, her nurse of 4.5 years, Lacey Stevens and her aid, Pam Jackson.
