Osage City - Doris Edna Paul, 95, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Peterson's Assisted Living in Osage City, Kansas. She was born on September 22, 1930, near Minneapolis, Kansas, the only daughter of Louis and Edna (Bradford) Bieber.

Doris grew up around the Minneapolis and Salina area, had lived in Hutchinson and Topeka before moving to Osage City in 1971, where she has lived ever since.

Doris enjoyed yardwork, jigsaw puzzles, word searches, and watching old movies when she wasn't attending her grandchildren's sporting events, music/band concerts, or dance recitals.
Doris met Everett Paul in Hutchinson, and they were married on October 3, 1959, in Brookville. To this union two children were born, Jim and Diane.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband Everett on March 8, 1987; by her parents, Louis and Edna; and by her five brothers, Earl (Elsie) Bieber, Lester (Ruth) Bieber, Donald Bieber, Clifford (Bernie) Bieber and Willis Bieber.

Doris is survived by her two children, Jim (Dena) Paul of Osage City and Diane Scott (John Keating) of Waverly; three grandchildren, Kady (Josh) Carson of Lawrence, Tracer (Miranda) Paul of Topeka and Shelby Davidson (Riley Mason) of Topeka, two great-grandchildren, Delilah Carson and Blair Paul; her sister-in-law, Connie Bieber of Salina; and several nieces and nephews.
