Doris Presby

Doris Presby, 79, went to be in the arms of the Lord on June 29, 2025. She was born January 29, 1946 in Warren, Maine to her loving parents Bernard and Lucille York.
Doris was very active in her religious life, and attended the Apostolic Bible Institute in Rhode Island in 1967. Just a few years later in 1970, she married the love of her life, Austin Presby. She attended many local churches in the area, and was once an active member of the New Life Church. Doris was also a member of TOPS, a fellowship group that promoted togetherness and living a healthy lifestyle.
When she wasn't attending church gatherings, Doris could be found watching NASCAR or even enjoying a relaxing day of knitting. She loved nature and the outdoors, and was very fond of hummingbirds.
Doris is preceded in death by her son, Dennis C. Presby, who passed away in 1998, and also by her beloved husband Austin C. Presby, who passed in 2006.
She is survived by her three brothers Dale York (Diane), David York (Cindy), and Dennis York (Peggy); her two sons Jonathan Presby (Lenora) and Jason Presby (Aubrie); her seven grandchildren Donald, April, Britney, Matthew, Damien, Marietta, and Jade; and her four great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Jason, Emma, and Natalie.
