Doris Suemnicht Obituary
She was born in Plymouth on November 21, 1929, a daughter of the late Oscar and Alta (Abraham) Hueppchen.
On September 8, 1951, she married Kenneth Suemnicht in Plymouth. They resided in Parnell for 37 years before moving back to Plymouth in 1990. He preceded Doris in death on February 18, 1992.
Doris worked at Cleveland Container, Larson Canning, helped her husband with Suemnicht Construction, was a stay-at-home mom, and babysat her grandson.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth, and she loved going to garage sales and thrift sales, embroidery, playing bingo, and spending time with her family.
Survived by: Children: Debra (John) Masarik of Plymouth, Kenneth "Butch" (Bonnie) Suemnicht of Sheboygan, Donald (Linda) Suemnicht of Cascade; Son-in-law: Roger Baumhardt of Plymouth; 11 Grandchildren; Numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; Sister: Joyce Hueppchen of Plymouth; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Doris was preceded in death by: Her parents; Husband; Daughter: Diane Baumhardt; Sisters: Mildred Hueppchen and Malinda (Carl) Suemnicht; Brother: James Hueppchen; and many in-laws.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday (October 6, 2022) at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Visitation will take place from 11:00AM – 12:00PM, with a prayer service to follow at 12:00 Noon. Rev. John Schultz, Pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Cascade.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Doris' name to St. John Lutheran Church – Plymouth, or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
