Doris Wager Windom passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024 and was born December 20, 1938.
She is survived by her loving children, Ricky Windom (Terry), Greg Windom (Kelly), Sheila Graham (Robert) and Timothy Windom (Kellie); her grandchildren, Gretchen Badon (Rick), Jeremy Windom (Juli), Austin Windom, Nicholas Windom, Sarah Holcombe (Cory), Rebecca Forehand (Tom), Laney Weber (Ryan) and Taylor Tircuit (Zack) and; great-grandchildren, Luke Badon, Grant Badon, Kinsley Windom, Kaden Windom, Roman Holcombe, Lincoln Holcombe, Archer Holcombe, Silas Forehand, Vayle Forehand, Alice Tircuit and Ruby Weber. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie R. Windom; her parents Ethel Sharp Wager and Marshall H. Wager, Jr.; and siblings, Fenwick Wager and Fenard Wager.
She was a lifelong resident of Madisonville and retired after 25 years working for the Clerk of Courts Office. She was a self-taught pianst and was the pianst for First Baptist Church of Madisonville.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington LA 70433 on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 11:00 AM with visitation on Wednesday beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Wager Cemetery.
