NEW SALEM - Dorlene Christina Kaelberer, 98, of New Salem, North Dakota, passed away at her home on 18 August 2025.
A celebration of Dorlene's life will be held in the Chapel at Elm Crest Manor in New Salem, North Dakota, at 2:30 PM on 23 August 2025. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until the time of the service. Memorials received will be donated to Elm Crest Manor.

I knew Dorlene to be a deep Christian. She lived her faith in everything she did. She and her husband were pillars at our Bethel United Church of Christ when I served there. Her life blest many others. And because Jesus lives, Dorlene does, too. "Welcome Home, thou good and faithful servant" I envision Jesus saying to her.
