Dorothy Brocato (Wallace), 80, of
Dorothy Brocato, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024.
Dorothy was born on September 09, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky to Marvin and Florence (Ireland) Wallace. Dorothy is preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Dickerson.
Dorothy was a light in any room and enjoyed having fun. Some favorite memories of Dorothy are of her and her sister Ruth dressing up like the Von Trapps, dressing up the children around the neighborhood and singing songs from the sound of Music, Dorothy and her sister also used to drag race in their Plymouth Duster and Mercury Cougar. Dorothy usually came out victorious. Dorothy enjoyed going out dancing and was a loving mother. Dorothy will be remembered as always trying to give to anyone she could. Dorothy will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Richard Bruce, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Dorothy is also survived by a loving host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:30 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood, Kentucky.
