Dorothy Brooks Obituary

Dorothy Brooks has peacefully gone to be with her Lord on October 20, 2025, at the age of 83.

Dorothy was born on August 6, 1942, in Philadelphia, to Nellie and Stanley Dziewit. She married Larry Brooks on September 23, 1961, in Philadelphia. She was a great cook and loved making enough food to feed a crowd.

Mom was a beautiful lady inside and out. She was strong-willed, and her mind was sharp as a tack. She loved the Lord and reading the Bible. She loved her family, especially her grandkids, who affectionately called her "Bama". She will be deeply missed.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Larry, her parents Nellie and Stanley, and brother Alfred Dziewit.

Those left to cherish Dorothy's memory are her children, Dennis Brooks, Ronald Brooks, Angela and Chris Ullrich, Thomas and Lisa Brooks; her grandchildren, Jared Farrey, Johnathan Brooks, Rachel Farrey, Elizabeth Brooks; along with many other loving family members and friends.
