Skyvue Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens - MansfieldJustin Wayne "Pete " Jackson, 63, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Memorial Service: 10 am Friday, October 31, 2025 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Pete was born on June 18, 1962, to Dorothy Fay Mars and John Wayne Jackson in Gatesville, Texas. He graduated from Azle High in 1980 with honors and worked for his father, Richard Whitten Jr. and grandfather, Richard Whitten Sr. and later owned his own Constuction company. He married Jena Lynn Tarver on February 13, 2015, in Burleson, TX. Pete was a proud follower of Jesus, lived out Gods word daily and has now joined his loved ones in Glory. His hobbies were his Harley Davidson and all motorcycles and classic cars, grilling, woodwork, home improvements, family gatherings and going on cruises with Jena.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers please make donations to American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents, loving stepparents and numerous family members and friends.
Survivors: Spouse; Jena Lynn Tarver-Jackson; daughters, Brandi Marie Hale and spouse Jake Wyatt, Brittany Nicole Tarver and spouse Adrian Aranda; sisters, Wanda Jackson and spouse Richard Dow, Tammi Roach and spouse Tim Roach, Candi Whitten Richardson; brothers, Richard C. Whitten III, Bryon Schumacher and spouse Rhonda; grandchildren, Brantley Hale, Bryson Hale, Braelyn Louge, Alexander Clausen, Ryan Clausen, Kennadi Clausen, Ave Clausen, Lucas Aranda, Celste Thetford and spouse Justin Thetford and Katie Friddle; great grandchild, Waylon Thetford; nephew, Richard Jackson and spouse Tanna Jackson; great nephews, Ryder and Paycen Jackson ; cousin, Regina Otter and spouse Larry and their son Lance.
The family would like to thank his lifelong friends, Brian Hopkins and companion Jolene and Pat Phillips and spouse Becky who were more than just friends, that he considered his brothers.
