Dorothy "Suzanne" Sterling Cannon, 22, died Saturday August 5, 2023.
Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of John Maxwell "Sterling" Cannon and the late Rebekah Crouch Cannon.
Suzanne was a loving daughter, sister, and friend who brought joy and laughter to those around her through her outgoing, adventurous, and inclusive personality. She was a talented young artist who won awards through Mauldin High School and Greenville Artisphere. She loved photography and was an accomplished sports photographer for local athletes in the Greenville / Spartanburg area.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her sisters, Whitney Lauren Cannon, Vivian Leigh Dyer Cannon, and Clara Winslow Barton Cannon; brother, Griffin Hopkins; half-brothers, Cameron and James Henthorne; maternal grandparents, John Robert Crouch and Rebekah Suzanne Crouch; aunts, Alison Dyer Crouch Simpson, Jane Caroline Alexander Griffin, and Erika Johnson Cannon; uncles, Alberry Charles Cannon III and Michael David Winslow Cannon; and many dear friends.
Along with her mother, Suzanne's paternal grandparents, Alberry Charles Cannon and Nancy Estell Sterling Cannon, preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Church Episcopal. Following the service, the family will receive friends in Suzanne's family home.

Suzanne was one of my daughter´s closest friends. She instantly became a member of the family. She lit up the house with her personality every time she walked in the door. Im going to miss you at Sunday dinners and on vacations.

To the Cannon family, thank you for sharing your beautiful daughter with us. She is loved by many.

Rest in peace Suzanne. We love you.
