Dorothy was born in New York City and enjoyed working in Manhattan. She was an accomplished pianist with a love of music. Dorothy married her husband of over 50 years, Marco Ciriani, in the Bronx, and they raised their family in Lincroft, NJ.
Dorothy's favorite pastime was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her loving presence shaped and influenced 3 generations of her family. Dorothy leaves a joyful legacy of laughter, kindness and compassion.
Dorothy Ciriani was predeceased by her beloved husband, Marco Ciriani, and loving grandson, Ethan Grossman. She is survived by her five daughters, Cathy Grossman, Laura & Joseph Giddings, Linda Toop, Christa & Terence Grenda and Donna Bodner, 10 wonderful grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many beloved family and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 27, 2025, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Silverton Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Toms River, NJ.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, 9:30 am at St. Justin the Martyr RC Church, Toms River, NJ.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
Online condolences can be given at www.silvertonmemorial.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations to American Heart Association appreciated.
