Dorothy V. Harper

Dorothy Victoria Harper, age 93, passed away on June 27, 2025. She was born in Cleveland on October 16, 1931, to John and Mary Czech (Check). In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Edward J. Harper Jr. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (John) Lammers and beloved granddaughters Kaylee Grace Lammers and Lauren Harper Lammers, sister Genevieve Brooks, nephews Randy and Bryan (Debi) Brooks, and longtime companion Robert Kopsak. Dorothy was a member of Ss. Cosmas and Damian Catholic Church in Twinsburg and was blessed with friendship and support from her church community and especially its women's group. Private entombment will be at All Saints Cemetery Mausoleum. A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at a later date in the chapel at Light of Hearts Villa, 283 Union Street, Bedford. The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to her care team from Hospice of the Western Reserve and to the angels at David Simpson Hospice House.
