Dorothy Kell Obituary
Dorothy L. Kell, age 93, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Salyer Adult Group Home in Hillsboro, OH.
She was born May 10, 1932 in Flemming County, KY, daughter of the late John D. and Minnie (Jordan) Moore.
She was a longtime member of the Good News Gathering in Hillsboro and was a graduate of Whiteoak High School Class of 1951.
Surviving are son, Derick (Kim) Kell, daughter, Terri (Steve) Brooks, 5 Grandchildren, Brittany (Grant Hickey) Gilbert, Tanner (Molly) Kell, Courtney Hunley, Lindsey (Ronnie) Hall and Tyler Hunley. Also left to mourn her passing are 7 Great-Grandchildren, Audrey Gilbert, Isabelle Hickey, Olivia Hickey, Landon Hall, Luke Hall, Gavin Hunley and Brayden Hunley.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her step-mother, Elva Mae Beavers Moore and her husband of 70 years, Russell Kell who passed away January 23, 2024.
In accordance with Dorothy's wishes, services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Jeff Lyle officiating. Interment will follow in the Roberts Cemetery, Taylorsville, Ohio.
The Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro is serving the family.
